Those who Phillies together stay together, or something like that. Of course, there was lots of excitement across all of Pennsylvania, and especially in Philadelphia, last Sunday when the Phillies made it into the World Series. People rushed into the Philly streets to celebrate, and many made new friends.
Now, it appears someone made a real love connection during those celebrations, but alas, the can't find that special girl. In the public Philadelphia Phillies Fan Group on Facebook, someone by the name of Laird Frazier posted a lengthy message asking to help his friend find a girl he met during the celebration that he can't get his mind off.
"Jim and I waded through the crowd searching for our friends while ensuring our fellow Fightins were optimally intoxicated (one guy went a little overboard and puked after ripping a shot but don’t worry - just like the Phils, he rallied)," he states, half-joking. "Jim started voicing frustration about the difficulty of finding our friends when an attractive female Fightin fan (FFF) stopped us. She asked for a drink and Jim immediately obliged, smitten by her beauty. In exchange for the drink, she offered to help us find our friends by doing the unthinkable: 'Do you want to get on my shoulders?' she asked. Jim’s eyes lit up, both amazed and intrigued by the offer. I was a bit skeptical that she could pull it off, but she effortlessly hoisted him up and spun around. Our missing friends saw the signal and we were reconnected, which led to a joyous singing of the Philadelphia classic 'No One Likes Us.' Unfortunately though, amidst the chaos, it was the last that Jim saw of the heroine who literally lifted us up when we were down and helped us salvage our celebratory evening."
He says that this is where he needs your help. "We believe that this woman very well could be my friend Jim’s future wife," he says. "...Please help us find her so that we can let this fateful interaction blossom into the love story that all Phils fans deserve." If you think you can help, reach out to them via the post HERE! There is already some hope, as Erin S. left a comment on the post that said, “JIM IM SO GLAD YOU FOUND YOUR FRIENDS” and had a photo of her hoisting Jim on her shoulders. Will these two end up in bliss? Time will tell.
