There's always room for another burger joint in Pennsylvania, because, hey, who doesn't love a good burger? That could be a regular, juicy meat burger or vegetarian burger, to boot.

Now, a Southern California burger chain is looking to expand across America. They're eyeing more franchise locations in the Keystone State, and they are making plans to expand in the next few years.

The Habit Burger Grill is planning to open more franchise locations in Greater Philadelphia, according to a new article in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

According to the company, it is looking to come to multi-unit development agreements with franchisees who have a track record of favorably operating restaurants. The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that in an email, John Phillips, chief global partnerships officer for the Habit Burger Grill, said the restaurant is looking to have new locations fully operational in the next two to three years. Habit currently doesn't have any new deals set in the Philadelphia area but is currently looking for available real estate sites for future restaurants.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that Habit Burger Grill currently has two local spots at the King of Prussia Town Center and 706 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill. "Our existing restaurant in King of Prussia is a testament to how well we've been able to fill the demand for quality burgers and quick-service offerings just outside of Philadelphia, and we’re certain that we can have the same [effect] in other surrounding suburbs and within city limits alike," Phillips said via Philadelphia Business Journal. Pennsylvania has plenty of great places to work. But, what if you're looking to change things up and find a new employer in the Keystone State? Thankfully, now we have a full list of the best companies to work for in the state, all updated for 2023, thanks to the staff at Forbes.

The just-released study is Forbes' fourth survey of the best employers. For it, the outlet looked at 1,382 companies in the United States and ranked them in each state, as well as Washington, D.C. The publication teamed up with market research company Statista to survey 70,000 Americans working for businesses with a minimum of 500 employees.

"Whether working remotely or from the office, Americans’ priorities have changed," Forbes states in the study. "Employers have had to motivate talent, combat burnout and ensure the well-being and safety of their workers, while pursuing profits amid a sensitive political landscape that spurred new levels of corporate activism – not to mention a growing divide in what people want from institutions and companies." Forbes adds, "It was against this backdrop that Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile our fourth annual list of America’s Best Employers By State. The list is divided into 51 rankings—one for each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia—and was compiled by surveying 70,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. Surveys were conducted anonymously, allowing participants to freely share their opinions. The final list ranks the 1,382 employers that received the most recommendations."
