[RECIPE] The Perfect Cocktail for Your Cinco de Mayo Party

Margaritas, Palomas, Tequila sodas, and now a Palmilla… sign me up! When it comes to tequila cocktails I am a fan, they are always so refreshing and tasty! If you’re like me and also a tequila fan and are looking for a easy cocktail to make to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, you’ve come to the right place.

Villa One, the ultra-premium tequila from Nick Jonas and John Varvatos, has the perfect cocktail that’s a refreshing twist on the classic margarita. Named after the resort Nick & John stayed in when they developed their idea for Villa One, One & Only Palmilla, this Villa One Palmilla is sure to impress!

Villa One Palmilla 

  • 1.5 oz Villa One Reposado
  • 0.25 oz lime juice
  • 0.75 oz grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 oz Soda Water

Directions: 

Shake the first 6 ingredients with ice and strain into a Collins glass over new ice. Top with soda water and garnish with cayenne salt and a dehydrated lime.
