Hersheypark No Longer Accepting Cash
How much cash do you have on you right now? If you’re like most people, not a whole lot. It’s a sign of the times and Hersehypark recognizes that. If your summer plans include a trip to the park you have to bring your credit card. The park opens for the season on April 2, and cash payments will no longer be accepted.
The park explains, “to create more convenient retail and dining experiences for guests. All major credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay will be accepted.”
Don’t worry if you dont’ have any of those options, guests with cash only can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at five Cash-To-Card kiosks throughout the Park. In place of cash, guests should consider purchasing an e-gift card before their Park visit. Learn more here.
