West Chester’s Newest Bar Good Bad and Ugly is Now Open
Downtown West Chester’s newest addition to its food and beverage scene is a modern twist on an old fashioned dive bar coming from the restaurant group behind Stove & Tap.
The new spot is located at 158 W. Gay Street, underneath Stove & Tap. The 2,000 square foot space features seating for 52 people, including at the giant 80+ foot long bar, pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard tables. The décor play homage to spaghetti westerns and the owners’ love of Clint Eastwood and Quentin Tarantino movies.
“Good Bad and Ugly in West Chester is our homage to something that we all love – a good dive bar,” said Weathers. “We wanted to put our own Stove and Tap twist on a dive bar with delicious food in baskets that you eat with your hands, games to play, TV’s to watch, sports to cheer for, well-made drinks, a great mix of beers on tap and by the can, and design that is sensory overload to keep the energy light and fun. We want a spot that you can come as you are – whether it’s dressed from work, casual from home, or stylish for a night on the town. We want to tell all sides of the story – the good, the bad and the ugly. All are welcome and invited. We’re bringing the fun back to the bar game in our region – but with the same level of quality you would expect from us.”
Good Bad & Ugly will be open five nights a week. . Opening hours will be Wednesdays, from 4:00pm to Midnight; Thursday and Friday, from 4:00pm to 2:00am; Saturday, from Noon to 2:00am; and Sunday, from Noon to Midnight. The kitchen closes at 11:00pm nightly. Happy Hour will run nightly, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
