City Winery Philadelphia Opens Tasting Room
Beginning this February, wine lovers can explore locally-made varietals from World Class Vineyards in the heart of Philadelphia with the opening of The Tasting Room at City Winery Philadelphia. In addition to being the city’s first urban winery opening in 2019 with live music and wine-infused, culinary experiences, the popular Fashion District destination will offer approachable, interactive tastings along with growlers to-go and retail wine.
Led by City Winery’s winemaker Isaac Clark, the space allows guests the opportunity to enjoy a true tasting room while sipping, snacking, and discussing the art of winemaking with skilled experts – just steps away from where the wine is made.
“We’re so excited to open The Tasting Room and showcase our wines in a personal setting like this,” said City Winery Philadelphia’s Winemaker, Isaac Clark “The opportunity to share the journey our wines have made from vineyard to glass and some quick tips on how to best understand these wines is something I truly love discussing. Regardless of wine knowledge, there’s something for everyone at the Tasting Room and we can’t wait to see you.”
The intimate environment encourages patrons to connect with City Winery’s experts in addition to offering selections on tap wines along with delectable pairing bites including artisanal cheeses, burrata, hummus, marinated olives, and flatbreads that can be enjoyed in the restaurant or music venues after your wine tasting.
The grand opening of The Tasting Room at City Winery Philadelphia is Friday, February 4th, 2022.
City Winery Philadelphia is located at 990 Filbert Street, Philadelphia, PA and the tasting room hours of operation are Thursday and Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
