I am a big fan of hot sauce! I love it on eggs, pizza, and on wings obviously. I like trying different brands and flavors of hot sauce, but have never been brave enough to try one of those inferno super hot ones. If you're a fan of hot sauce too you can celebrate on Saturday.
National Hot Sauce Day is Saturday, January 22 and Instacart has researched the most popular hot sauces per state.
According to the data, the most popular hot sauce all around in the U.S. is Hoy Fung Sriracha, which is huge in 31 western states.
The second most popular hot sauce in the country is Frank's Red Hot, which takes the top spot in 14 states in the country, including Pennsylvania.
Based on the results, the study found 74% of Americans eat hot sauce with their food and 45% typically add it to a meal at least once a week.
