James Beard Award Winner and Iron Chef, Jose Garces, introduces a series of ticketed pop-up events showcasing his two popular ghost kitchen concepts, Rustika Pollo a la Brasa and Livy’s Plant Based Foods.

Typically available as pickup and delivery-only, guests will be presented with in-person tastings from Garces’ two beloved brands, Rustika Polla a la Brasa and Livy’s Plant Based Foods.

On October 27th, indulge in Peruvian foods, inspired by his Chef Garces’ South American roots and explorations of Peru, courtesy of Rustika Pollo a la Brasa. Menu items include:

    • Avocado Salad
    • Cheese or Chicken Empanadas
    • Yucca Cheese Bread with Guava Butter
    • Rotisserie Chicken for 2 or 4
    • Rotisserie Potatoes with Spicy Cheese Sauce
    • Roasted Cauliflower with Spicy Cheese Sauce
    • Asparagus a la Plancha
    • One complimentary Pisco Sour, plus additional beverages available for purchase

On November 3rd, explore plant-based options from Livy’s Plant Based Foods in celebration of World Vegan Day. Menu Items include:

    • Choice of one of the following burgers:
      • “The Love Burger” (salsa rosa, lettuce, sliced avocado, sliced tomato, ‘smoked gouda’, sautéed mushrooms, ‘chorizo’, crispy shallots)
      • “Double Play Burger” (two impossible patties, ‘cheddar’, pickles, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, shoestring fries and sriracha aioli)
      • “Build Your Own Burger” featuring a choice of bun, plant-based protein, ‘cheese,’ toppings and sauce
    • Choice of Crinkle Cut or Sweet Potato Fries with Salsa Rosa

Both popups will be located at Distrito (3945 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104).

 The pop up at Rustika Polla on October 27th  will be $45 per person and tickets can be purchased HERE.
