Netflix dropped a teaser trailer for the fourth season of Stranger Things earlier today (August 6), revealing that we'll return to the Upside Down come next year.

The teaser — which will also air during primetime coverage of the Tokyo Olympics — also debuted some new footage from the upcoming episodes, along with memorable moments from previous seasons. In the video, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) can be heard whispering "It's coming" and "It's almost here."

See what fans had to say about the teaser on Twitter:

We all felt the pain when season 3 ended when Jim Hopper (David Harbour) died, but a post-credit scene and previous teases for season 4 confirmed that he is still alive. It also appears that Hawkins Laboratory is up and running, with deranged doctor Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) hanging out with kids with special abilities. His voice is heard at the start of the clip saying, "Eleven, are you listening?"

Our favorite moment from season 3 has to be when Dustin sings a Never Ending Story serenade with his honey Suzie.

Production on Season 4 of Stranger Things began when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and shut everything down in March 2020. Production resumed in Georgia last fall, Entertainment Weekly reports.

There's no exact date for the new season as yet but cast additions include Nightmare on Elm Street's Robert Englund and Game of Thrones' Tom Wlaschiha as one of Hopper's Russian captors. Brett Gelman and Priah Ferguson have also been upped to series regulars.
