Since the story broke that Bruce Willis was kicked out of a Los Angeles store for not wearing a mask, he has responded. Per People, he said in a statement, “It was an error in judgment. Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up.”

Bruce Willis’ celebrity status didn’t mean anything on a recent trip to the store. Per Page Six, the actor was asked to leave a Rite Aid in Los Angeles because he refused to wear a mask.

The outlet states, “The spy says people inside the store became upset that Willis, 65, wasn’t wearing a mask — despite having a bandanna tied around his neck, which he could have easily pulled up.”

Willis was photographed  before walking out of the store, and he exited without making any purchases.
