Outage: Major Cell Carriers Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T Down In Parts Of U.S.
Major wireless carriers throughout the U.S. have been experiencing outages this afternoon.
According to a number of social media posts and a story on Business Insider, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and US Cellular were all reportedly down in some parts of the US. Down Detector, a site that tracks outages of cell-phone services, websites and apps, reports outages in New York, Florida, Texas, Georgia, and California.
Phone owners in the US also reported issues on social media Monday afternoon with their cell service.
