Kimmel Center Hosts Music for Mom Contest
The Kimmel Center has a contest going on ahead of Mother’s Day called Music For Mom, where three lucky Moms will receive something they can keep forever – their story in a song.
The theaters are closed for now, but the Kimmel Center is helping everyone celebrate Mother’s Day social-distance-style.
Share what makes your mom so special. Nominate your mom (or any mom you love) by submitting three reasons why she is a wonderful mother. These three reasons will be used as inspiration by the artists for the creation of an original song that will be delivered on Mother’s Day.
Submit your mom’s story for the chance to win a personalized, “Mom inspired song”, written and performed by Kimmel Residency artists and delivered via video for Mother’s Day.
Enter via Facebook, Instagram or e-mail through 11:59pm on May 3rd for your chance to win!

Interested nominators are encouraged to enter through either Facebook (@KimmelCenter), Instagram (@KimmelCenter), or via email at [email protected].
- To submit via Facebook: Follow the Kimmel Cultural Campus @KimmelCenter and in the comment section of the Music for Mom post. Post a photo with Mom’s name and three (3) reasons why the nominator believes she is a wonderful mother.
- To submit via Instagram: Post a photo of you and Mom and tag the Kimmel Cultural Campus @KimmelCenter. In the caption, post Mom’s name and three (3) reasons why the nominator believes she is a wonderful mother.
- To submit via email at [email protected]: Send an email with Mom’s name and three (3) reasons why the nominator believes she is a wonderful mother.
