The 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony has been rescheduled for November after being postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Per Deadline, the ceremony will now take place on Saturday, November 7. The induction ceremony will still be broadcast live on HBO from Cleveland's Public Auditorium as previously announced. The 2020 class includes Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, the Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, T-Rex and the Notorious B.I.G.
Originally scheduled to take place on May 2, the Rock Hall ceremony was postponed on March 12 in a statement from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame President Joel Peresman who said, "Our first concern is to the health and safety of our attendees and artists and we are complying to the direction of the local and state authorities and common sense. We look forward to rescheduling the ceremony and will make that announcement at the earliest convenience."
