He was in town for a few months to star in a show called Dispatches from Elsewhere, and he fell in love with us. Not you and me per say, but Philadelphia!
To know Philly is to love Philly, and he just gets it.
As did his fellow cast and crew members, including Andre 3000 (Benjamin), Sally Field, Eve Lindley and Richard E. Grant. They, along with the rest of the production crew were awesome enough to consider Philadelphia one of the main characters on the show.
They went so far as to call the show "a love letter to Philadelphia", and judging from the video below, it very much is.
Check out this wonderful video spotlight on Philadelphia that features murals and neighborhoods all over the city, and big-name celebrities talking about places like Rittenhouse Square and Fishtown and that "funny named river that I can't pronounce". It's perfect.
Dispatches from Elsewhere premieres this Sunday, March 1st at 10 p.m. on AMC. Don't miss it!
