According to Harvey Weinstein’s attorney, the movie producer was rushed to the hospital yesterday following his conviction on sex assault charges. Per CNN, “Harvey Weinstein was rerouted to New York’s Bellevue Hospital for chest pains, heart palpitations and high blood pressure.” His attorney tells CNN that he “is ok” and is currently in the prison ward of the hospital.
Yesterday, Weinstein was convicted of two crimes: committing a criminal sex act in the first degree and rape in the third degree. Both offenses were with different women. He is set to face up to 25 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for March 11. He still faces two additional charges in a Los Angeles court.
