This is so great. Following the Chief’s Super Bowl win, Kansas City player Derrick Nnadi decided to pay the adoption fees for every adoptable dog at the KC Pet Project shelter in Kansas City. KC Pet Project is a no-kill shelter in Kansas City, that Derrick had partnered with and was paying for a different dog’s adoption fee every time the Chiefs won a game, all season long. A Super Bowl win meant the whole shelter got in on the celebration!
Coors Light is doing something similar, offering to cover up to $100 per dog adoption fee for the first 1,000 eligible participants to sign up. To apply, text a photo of your adoption receipt and the words “COORS4k9” to 28130. The contest lasts from today (February 4th) through February 21st 2020.
“Coors Light encourages you to skip the cheesy Valentine’s traditions and spend the day with a fur-ever friend.”
Unfortunately Pennsylvania, California, Louisiana, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia are not a part of this promotion.
