Hey it’s Abby- the new intern for the BenFM Morning Show with Kristen Herrmann. You can follow me on my socials @AbbyMerola !

There’s a lot going on in and around Philadelphia this weekend, plus – it’s going to be great (WARM) weather! High of 66 on Saturday, and a high of 70 on Sunday. With weather like that, you may just want to stay outside, but it’s always good to have options. Here are my picks for the weekend!

To kick it off, The Home Show starts today and is a great place to visit home related displays and get ideas for your next home renovation project. Get your tickets and more information HERE.  Make sure you vote for Kristen’s home space and check out NBC10 news segment about the design challenge.

Next, finish out Philly Loves Bowie Week with Me & Mr. Jones: My Intimate Relationship With David Bowie – an encore performance this year. Tonight is the 2nd show at Franky Bradley’s. Check out Kristen’s “Ben Around Philly” segment with the legendary Robert Drake, which talks about the show. He says it should be on Broadway, it’s that good! Plus, one of the biggest Bowie devoted shows called “A Night of Stardust” is this Saturday night at Union Transfer.  Get your tickets HERE.  Close the week (and weekend) out with a fun Snowy Bowie ice skating event at Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest from noon to 6pm. They’ll be playing all Bowie music to skate to, plus a movie, face painting and more.

The Greater Philadelphia Expo center is also putting on a Family Pet show where all types of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.  will perform tricks and show routines with their trainer. Click this link for more info.

The Tony Award winning (10!) Broadway show The Band’s Visit … visits… the Academy of Music this weekend, and runs through Sunday, January 19th. Find tickets HERE.

Of course, BEN-FM will be playing your soundtrack all weekend long.

Have a GREAT time!
