VIDEO: Amsterdam Church Plays David Bowie’s ‘Life on Mars?’ From Bell Tower
David Bowie‘s birthday yesterday (January 8) prompted many tributes including this beautiful one from a church in Amsterdam.
BBC reporter Peter Gibbs shared a video of the Protestant church Zuiderkerk playing the Bowie classic “Life on Mars?” from its bell tower. Gibbs said in the comments of the tweet, “It was a lovely, unexpected experience. It was a bit surreal.”
Tomorrow (January 10) will mark four years since Bowie passed away.
