Mornings with Kristen Herrmann

Weekdays 6:00am - 9:00am

Are you a Jane Austen fan? As someone who can watch any version of Pride and Prejudice ever and love it (and there are some pretty questionable takes out there…), I’m so with you. It’s my go-to whenever I need a comfort film, or book! You know the feeling.

While Emma isn’t on Pride and Prejudice level for me, I do love anything by Jane Austen, and so I am very excited about the new Emma film coming out this February. There are some great quirky actors in it, including Anna Taylor-Joy who plays Emma. Based on the trailer, I think she’s got Gwyneth Paltrow beat. Maybe not Alicia Silverstone’s Cher in Clueless, but that’s apples and oranges. This one looks super fun, and I’ll be there February 21st when it comes out in theaters.

Here’s the new teaser trailer:

EMMA. - Official Teaser Trailer [HD] - In Theaters February

Jane Austen's beloved comedy about finding your equal and earning your happy ending, is reimagined in this delicious new film adaptation of EMMA. Handsome, clever, and rich, Emma Woodhouse is a restless queen bee without rivals in her sleepy little town.
