‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel Is Coming To HBO
Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke.
The Game of Thrones story continues. HBO has officially announced that it will have a prequel to the hit series called House of the Dragon. Per CNN, the show will be set 300 years before Game of Thrones, and it will focus on the House of Targaryen.
House of the Dragon will be based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood series.
While discussing the new show, Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming, says, “The ‘Game of Thrones’ universe is so rich with stories. We look forward to exploring the origins of House Targaryen and the earlier days of Westeros.”
There is no word yet on if any original Game of Thrones cast members will appear in the show.
