David Lee Roth Announces Las Vegas Residency
David Lee Roth will be setting up shop in Las Vegas in 2020 for a residency at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
“David Lee Roth: ROCKS VEGAS” will be taking place on the following dates:
– Jan. 8, 10-11
– March 18, 20-21, 25, 27-28
In true DLR fashion, the residency was announced in a flamboyant press release that refers to Diamond Dave as “front man and voice of Van Halen” and “Toastmaster general of the immoral majority.” The press release also reads, “Sinatra, Gaga, Elvis, Roth – only the most 3-dimensional and colorful performers take up residence in the showbiz capitol of the world. Most bring great shows to Vegas – David Lee Roth IS Las Vegas. Sin City, where we love, laugh and live it up. Las Vegas is where we celebrate and do the victory dance. Diamond Dave at the House of Blues Las Vegas is the perfect soundtrack.”
In a statement on the residency, Roth said, “A weekend with me is interactive way beyond just music. It starts with the best food on earth. The fellas smoke their three cigarettes for the year and we all stay up way past our bedtime!”
