PGA Tour FedEx Cup: Lightning Strikes, 6 People Injured
Six people were injured following a lightning storm at the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup in Atlanta.
Per TMZ, the lightning struck at around 4:45 PM and hit a tree. This caused debris to fly and injured the aforementioned six people, which included one child. No one was hit by the actual lightning bolt, and the injuries sustained weren’t life-threatening.
After the lightning, game play was canceled for the day.
