A feel good story because of its happy outcome. Last Wednesday at a Vancouver ski area, a young boy was caught dangling from a ski lift chair, when a quick thinking group of teenagers found a way to save him. They tore off the padding from a nearby pole and made a makeshift net to catch the boy. They even thought to tell the boy to take off his skis before letting go. The ski resort offered to renew season passes for the teens for their life saving efforts.
Five young skiers are being praised for saving a boy who was dangling from a chairlift on Grouse Mountain. Video captured Wednesday afternoon shows a man on a chairlift desperately clinging to a young boy while others watched in horror below.
