Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason has a busy spring ahead of him with the kickoff of his first North American tour in 25 years next month.

Being billed as Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, the tour will highlight Pink Floyd’s early, pre-Dark Side of the Moon catalog. Naturally, this brings up the potential for a Pink Floyd reunion. The last one that took place featuring Mason, Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Richard Wright, before his passing in 2008, was at Live 8 in 2005.

Mason gave this answer regarding a reunion in a recent conversation on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown:

“I have no idea on that one. It’s the question everyone would like answered. I don’t really think so. I think Roger and David really are happier doing their own things and not working together. It would be great if they did. I’m ready; I might even be in practice, but I’m certainly not going to hold my breath...What I’ve tended to say is I’m actually not the Henry Kissinger of rock and roll; I’m more Neville Chamberlain trying to invent peace where it doesn’t exist.”

The last activity from the Pink Floyd camp came in 2014 with the release of their fifteenth studio album, The Endless River, a collection of instrumentals that served as a tribute to Wright.

Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets tour kicks off March 12 in Vancouver. A complete list of tour dates is below, with full ticket information available at TheSaucerfulOfSecrets.com.
