Turkey hunting…gone wrong.

A 24-year-old New Hampshire woman was riding her motorcycle on the way to her job when a turkey perched on a stone wall decided to take flight.

She says, “I saw the thing leap and just fly at me and then I went down. It hurt.”

She broke her right hand and suffered some scrapes on her right leg in the collision.

While she’s recovering from her injuries, the turkey wasn’t so lucky. It was killed by the impact.

She did say there was a silver lining though, “I got to keep the turkey, so that was good.”
