A 16-year-old crashed into a utility pole out by State College. Why? Oh, he had good reason… a spider dropped down on his face while he was driving.

The spider's surprise appearance caused the teen "to become distracted," according to a state police report.

After the spider fell on the teen’s face, he veered off the right side of the road into a utility pole.

The teenager was not injured. His vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

There was no word on the condition of the spider.

If 1 of those 8 legged freaks falls on MY face while driving, and a utility pole is the only weapon at my disposal, you best believe it's the weapon that's going to be used.
