Police in Portland, Oregon are investigating a mysterious nose-job.

A family called cops to report that a 50-pound plastic nose, which for some reason was displayed on their front porch, was picked up and carried away by thieves.

The woman who owns the home … and the nose, says it's a discarded prop from a photo shoot and her husband picked it out of the trash and brought it home. She says her young kids love it and are devastated that it's gone.

The kids have been posting fliers around the neighborhood hoping someone will recognize the 50-pound nose. They're also offering all of their money as a reward -- a total of $6.27.
