For the past few years, Steve Perry has made a habit out of popping up in the most random of places leading many fans to speculate he could be returning to music.

The latest comes via a video Toad the Wet Sprocket posted to their Facebook page with the caption, “What do you say when Steve Perry crashes your tour rehearsal and wants to sing??? YES!”

Unlike all of those guest appearances with The Eels on stage in 2014, this interaction is definitely a bit strange.  After all, what on Earth was Perry doing just hanging out near a bunch of rehearsal spaces?!

Neal Schon has said in recent interviews that he’d love to work with Perry again, so we’re sure this latest incident certainly won’t stop any speculation of a Schon/Perry collaboration.

To put it the only way that seems appropriate, it looks like fans don’t have to stop believing that Perry’s really done with music.
