The kitchen staff at a Golden Corral in North Carolina was working on Tuesday when they noticed the smoke wasn’t ventilating properly.
It seemed like the exhaust vent above the stove was blocked, so their manager went up to the roof to investigate.
And he quickly figured out what was wrong with the vents: There was a PERSON in there.
It turned out that a 59-year-old guy had tried to break into the Golden Corral before it opened, but he got stuck up in the vent.
The fire department came and rescued him, and then they took him to the hospital.
Once doctors checked him out and made sure he was okay, he was arrested for felony breaking and entering.
It’s not clear if he was trying to actually rob the place, or he just wanted to be 1st in line at the roast beef carving station.
