FIRST FRIDAY! The first Friday of EVERY month the art galleries in Old City have free open houses, and many artists set up shop in the street to sell their art and other handmade items. First Friday has become so popular that it even extends into other neighborhoods like Fishtown. If you’re in the mood for a stroll among the streets to soak up some art and mingle with likeminded people, First Friday is for you! This Friday is the FF for November! Come out and support local art.

ALL WEEKEND! 2017 International Women’s Flat Track Derby Association Championships at Temple’s Liacouras Center. 12 teams from around the world will be competing in the three day tournament. There are after parties each day at a different bar (Friday- Standard Tap; Saturday- Woodys; Sunday- Voyeur). Plus the final game will be shown on TV!
