Springsteen Drops Another “Official Bootleg” Release
With his new Broadway show continuing in previews, Bruce Springsteen has released another live concert as part of his continuing “official bootleg” series.
The new entry is Madison Square Garden — New York, NY — 7/2/2000, the final show of the E Street Band‘s 1999-2000 reunion tour.
The show was the last of 10 at the historic venue, a run that was captured on the HBO special and subsequent home video Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band: Live In New York City as well as a CD.
The final show was notable for rarities such as “Code Of Silence,” which opened the concert, “Lost In The Flood,” “Further On (Up The Road),” “The Promise” and the show (and tour) closer “Blood Brothers.”
