Even as he continues his tour playing the Beach Boys' landmark Pet Sounds album, Brian Wilson continues to churn out some fresh material.

He's premiered "Run James Run," a new song recorded specifically for the upcoming the upcoming compilation Playback: The Brian Wilson Anthology, which comes out Friday (September 22). The 18-track set features one other unreleased song, "Some Sweet Day," from sessions during the late 80s with producer Andy Paley.

Wilson's Pet Sounds tour, with former Beach Boys Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, continues tonight (September 19) in Rochester, N.Y., with dates through October 14 in Cosa Mesta, Calif.
