Details on Queen’s ‘News Of The World’ Reissue
Queen will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of its News Of The World album with a box that includes the original album plus two more discs of demos, outtakes and live material, including recordings for the BBC’s.
One of the discs, entitled “Raw Sessions,” features alternate versions of each of the original album’s songs, including a live 1977 take of “Sleeping On The Sidewalk” and an acoustic “Who Needs You.”
The “Bonus Tracks” disc, meanwhile, features more alternate versions as well as live recordings from Houston, Montreal, Paris, Tokyo and the U.K. The deluxe set also comes with a DVD, “Queen: The American Dream” from the group’s 1977 North American tour.

Queen is also in the midst of filming the band biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, while Queen + Adam Lambert launches a European tour on November 1 in the Czech Republic.
