ZZ Top Add More Shows To 2017 Tour
ZZ Top‘s 2017 Tonnage Tour has added some weight, with new dates as part of its North American leg.
That trek, which began May 12, resumes today (August 24) in Vancouver and now has dates booked across the country through November 12, including some shows opening for Guns N’ Roses.
In a statement guitarist, Billy Gibbons says that, “We’re looking forward to playing for so many good folks in some of our favorite locales and serving as cultural ambassadors to our pals in Guns N’ Roses when they visit the great state of Texas. After four decades, we believe we’re beginning to get the hang of this whole rock and roll thing, as a mighty good time will be enjoyed by all.”
The tour is continuing to support the group’s Live! Greatest Hits From Around The World album that came out last year.
