Music News

All’s been quiet since news of Bruce Springsteen‘s planned Broadway residency leaked last month — and may stay that way for awhile.

The New York Post reports that according to anonymous sources, “Springsteen seems to be in no rush to make his Broadway debut. He’s putting together his act and will make an official announcement when he’s good and ready. It’s not like he needs to crank out the publicity. I think tickets will sell out in about 30 seconds.”

Springsteen was reported to be eyeballing an eight-week run of five shows per week at the Walter Kerr Theatre, starting this fall. The Springsteen camp has not at all acknowledged the residency, so stay tuned.
