Unlike other recreational programs for the disabled, wheelchair dancing itegrates disabled and able-bodied individuals in competitive venues as well as general recreation. Wheelchair dancers can learn to dance socially or competitively in highly creative and professional settings along with their able-bodied partners. Melinda is an extraordinary woman whose vision reaches across many boundaries including age, race, and physical ability.
