 | Woman of the Week Show - Sunday, December 21, 2008Melinda Kremer from American Dance Wheels was on the show. American Dance Wheels brings wheelchair ballroom dancing to the disabled community. Unlike other recreational programs for the disabled, wheelchair dancing itegrates disabled and able-bodied individuals in competitive venues as well as general recreation. Wheelchair dancers can learn to dance socially or competitively in highly creative and professional settings along with their able-bodied partners. Melinda is an extraordinary woman whose vision reaches across many boundaries including age, race, and physical ability.
