Claire is a very petite pit bull terrier, weighing only 25-30 lbs at full weight!  She is approx. 6 years old and came to the shelter as a stray. Claire is gentle, calm and easy to walk. She is a joy to take out and spend time with. She is fine with people around her food and is very submissive- she rolls to show you her belly a lot! She likes meeting people on walks, especially kids, and would do best in a home with kids 10 years and older. She also seems housetrained since when you take her outside she does her business immediately.  She knows the sit command already, loves treats and is really a smart and patient girl! She would do best in a home without other animals so come and meet this girl, you will be glad you did!  And spoil her rotten!

The Delco SPCA's hours for adoption are: Mon., Wed., Thurs., Fri., Sat., 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  They are closed on Tuesday for adoptions.
