Is your old baseball glove ready to be released from the basement, cleaned up a little and donated?

Phillies, Citizen's Bank and Chase Utley have launched the Helping Hand Glove Donation Program to assist children who play in the Philadelphia Phillies Rookie League.  Starting today and through the remainder of the season, new or gently used baseball gloves will be colleced at the Citizens Bank kiosk in Ashburn Alley at Citizens Bank Park to benefit children under 12 years old who participate in the rookie program.

As a special incentive, anyone who donates a baseball glove has a chance to win an autographed glove from Chase Utley.  You can get all the details at Citizen's Bank Park and/or www.phillies.com

The Rookie League was created to encourage inner city youth to participate in baseball programs and helps more than 5,000 children throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware.    So, next time your heading out to cheer on the Phillies, bring a glove for the kids!
