Where: U Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

You are a survivor.  Your body holds the evidence.  The process of evolution and its outcomes have had a profound impact on your daily life.  And the process continues.  The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, 3260 South Street in Philadelphia, invites you on a journey of self-discovery.  Visit Surviving: The Body of Evidence, an interactive, multimedia exhibition that opens Sunday, April 19.  Travel back millions of years to meet ancestors from now extinct species.  Encounter some of the world's most brilliant scientific thinkers.  Take stock in the imperfect, but remarkable, human being that you are today.  Hear predications for the future from geneticists, biologists, and others.  For information about Surviving: The Body of Evidence and a full Year of Evolution series of public programs, call Penn Museum at 215-898-4000 or visit museum.upenn.edu.
