Matt and Kristen had a chance to sit down with Melissa Levy, founder of PAWS, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. PAWS is a non-profit that raises awareness for Philadelphia's homeless animals, and aims to make Philadelphia a no kill city. BEN-FM's own Gloria, our dog morning show co-host was adopted through PAWS. This Saturday, Matt and Kristen, (and intern Julie!) will be at the 11th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The 11th annual event will take place from 9am to 2pm at 4747 S. Broad St. Check in starts at 9am, with the walk beginning at 11am. Matt and Kristen will be judging the doggy costume contest, so bring your pooch down in his or her best costume!
Adults: $25; Kids under 12: FREE!
Every participant receives a PAWS bandana and tote bag, plus a personalized fundraising page.
