Michael Jackson may have been the “King Of Pop,” but he had two major connections to the rock world: Eddie Van Halen and Slash.
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few decades, EVH wrote/played that iconic, blistering guitar solo on MJ’s classic track “Beat It.” As for Slash, he appeared on “Give In To Me,” the seventh (!) single off of 1991’s Dangerous and went on to perform live with Jackson on a number of occasions, including the 1995 MTV VMAs.
